Who I Am
Greetings All!And, yes...thank you for surfing my wave!
Well, here I am, unemployed, acting as if I've been doing this sort of thing for years. Would you believe two years already? First, I started this project as a hobby and wasn't quite sure where I was going with it or where it was going or what it was going to look like. Sort of like a new dad wondering if the baby's cute before he attaches his lineage to it. Well, the deed's done and it's a bit too late to go back...and rude to think that, but it happens; it's just not my style. Second, I wasn't sure who'd be reading it and didn't want to give out too much about myself, which brings me to this conclusion: I was wrong in my thinking all around; I figure let the world decide - who am I to pass judgment on good or bad? I have received notable praise for my efforts designing and producing this website and I am quite proud of its results so far, but if you're going to do something--good, bad or indifferent--go big with it, be in it for the long-haul and go all the way. If this project leads to something, chances are you're going to figure out who I am anyway so...I've come out of the closet! Whew!
As I move forward with this website, I will start opening up more pages with more amazing content and offers to share and experience, hopefully. Now that I've said my peace and feel better with my revelations...
My name is Roger and I live in Southern California with my wife, two children, an aging Golden Retriever, a mortgage and bills mounting so high, NASA can suspend its Shuttle Program this instant and just use my stack of bills as a ladder--trust me, they'll get there with time to spare! As I've sporadically blogged, this whole thing came about as a larkish idea that, through my network, gained strength, support and momentum which led me to strongly believe I had something more than some pretty journal entries. People became attracted to it and were seeking solace and advice from it. If not now, when? So, after making myself sick vomiting into the inboxes of Corporate America, and getting nowhere, I came up with my slogan of inspiration...
